Yards or Bags is run from Texas by one person. Questions about anything on this page go to yardsorbags@gmail.com.

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent anywhere — the sums happen in your browser and the numbers never leave your device.

What the site itself collects

Nothing directly. We do not set cookies of our own, we do not run analytics, and we do not ask you for your name, email or anything else to use a calculator.

Our web host records ordinary server logs, such as the IP address a request came from and which page was asked for. That is how every website on the internet works and we do not use those logs to identify anyone.

Advertising

This site may carry advertising. When it does, the following applies.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Advertisers set their own cookies and we have no access to or control over them. We never pass anything you type into a calculator to an advertiser, because we never receive it ourselves.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Links out

Where we link to another site — a supplier, a manufacturer's bag specification — that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser settings and every calculator here will still work perfectly, because none of them need cookies to run.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
